Who we are, and what we are not :
- We exist to help home cooks, cook better food at home. To share the knowledge of cultures from a common necessity of life.
- We are not professionally trained chefs, we are not dietitian’s, and we are not your doctor.
- When I say we, I mean me – for now. I’m Brad Parler, a father of four, geek and food lover.
It was only recently that I figured out that I was what most consider to be a “Foodie” until that time I thought that I was a guy who just really loved his food (sometime a bit two much). I also have always loved to cook, something that just recently I’ve fully embraced and have set myself to truly become a better home cook. Eating is an essential for life, and is the core of many cultures. Cooking Great Food is all about proper preparation, timing, and practice – practice – practice.
A word of warning.
If you have special ditary needs, please seek the guidence of a Doctor, not a blog… I’m not you doctor, I’m not your dietitian, and I’m not a trained chef, so please don’t call me chef. Chef is a earned title, and I ask that if you’ve not earned that title I also ask that you not call yourself something you are not. Why am I such a stickler about this? Many of have spent years to earn the title, why on earth would I steal this from them by trying to claim this with out earning it.
